Artists Urge You to Vote Yes for Love

On May 22, the Marriage Equality Referendum will be put to a vote in Ireland. If passed, the bill would amend the Irish constitution and legalize civil marriage for same-sex couples. There are several "Yes for Marriage Equality in Ireland" campaigns going strong as referendum day gets closer, including Yes For Love, a digital art campaign created by creative director Richard Seabrooke, designer/art director Gianni Dolce Merda, and web designer Christian Rochford. The three friends invited other artists to contribute a "Yes for Love" design in a square format to help spread the message and raise awareness about the important referendum.

Seabrooke, Merda, and Rochford explain, "On the 22nd of May this year, the people of Ireland will choose whether to amend the constitution to state that 'marriage may be contracted in accordance with law by two persons without distinction as to their sex.' We strongly feel this should be the case, and would like to encourage you to support the YES vote, by downloading one of our 'YES' images and using it as your profile picture across your Social Media page/s. By raising awareness you will play a key role in shaping the future of equality in Ireland. Join us in ensuring a fair and equal Ireland for all."

Here are just a few of the great Yes for Love submissions that you can download and share to show your support for marriage equality:
