The planet Venus was once a beautiful, oxygenated, oceanic world, covered in small land masses filled with rivers and valleys and forests and deserts and tundras and every sort of biome imaginable. This ancient planet would look very familiar to us Earth humans, especially because of its animals, which, although strange and magnificent, are very similar to the animals we know today. Humans existed on this ancient, other world, and this account of Venus animals was discovered by one of our recent space probes, left behind for us to learn about the amazing creatures who once lived and thrived on our sister planet.

Viper Hawk

Viper Hawk

The Viper Hawk is a large bird of prey that lives primarily in the high mountains of Arren. The mountain foothills are hugged by numerous crystalline lakes, and it is in these lakes that the Viper Hawk finds its prey, usually Liver Fish or Sand Worms.

Duck Billed Kicker

Duck Billed Kicker

The Duck Billed Kicker is one of the strongest birds alive, at least in terms of muscular ability. With quadriceps made of iron, this bird is an exceptional kicker (thus, the name), and an even more amazing runner. It cannot run very fast (too much mass) but it can run for days on end without stopping.

Neon Floater

Neon Floater

Out of all the animals on Venus with the ability to glow or illuminate, the Neon Floater outshines the best of them. With its bulbous yellow eyes, this creature is able to produce enough light to blind the average human, which is why it has proven very difficult to study.
